The proceedings of the 30th International Conference on the Physics of Semiconductors will be published with the AIP Conference Proceeding Series. It will appear as a CD-ROM and will be available online. In addition, selected plenary and invited papers will be published in a special section of Journal of Applied Physics. All papers will be reviewed. All contributed articles will be accessible for the conference participants without charge via the web for 12 months. The invited and plenary presentations also can be downloaded via the JAP website. The JAP papers as well as the papers published in the conference proceedings volume will be archived on the AIP website and made available indefinitely, just as all AIP journal and proceedings articles are. Upon publication online, each paper will receive the permanent DOI identifier and will remain citable.

a) Contributed Papers |

Contributed Papers must be submitted on-line in final layout/style (so-called author-prepared mode). Contributed papers must not exceed 2 printed pages in length. The on-line submission site for contributed papers is (http://icps.peerx-press.org) which contains detailed step-by-step instructions. Templates for the final layout (8.5 x 11 inch, double-column format) are also available at (http://proceedings.aip.org/). The manuscript submission deadline is extended to August 23, 2010. |

In addition to uploading the paper, the author must submit a properly completed and signed Transfer of Copyright form. Indicate your manuscript number on the top right corner of the form and upload the completed form in the PDF format along with the manuscript. b) Invited and Plenary Papers |
|
Selected plenary and invited papers will be published in a special section of Journal of Applied Physics. All contributions will be subject to the standard peer-review process for regular submissions to the Journal of Applied Physics. The authors are advised to refer to the 'Information for Contributors' section of the Journal's website (http://jap.aip.org/authors/information_for_contributors) for information regarding manuscript preparation and submission. Manuscripts must be submitted through Peer X-Press, the Journal's online manuscript submission system, located at http://jap.peerx-press.org. After logging onto the system, authors should select the section designated for ICPS-30. The journal will waive excess page charges and color on line where it is deemed required by the reviewer or Guest Editors. The usual page limits are 5 printed pages for invited and 7 for plenary papers. The deadline for uploading the manuscripts is August 23, 2010. |
